Radfahrer auf der Suche nach dem Besonderen. Besondere Funktionsanspr\u00fcche, individuelle K\u00f6rperma\u00dfe und bestimmte \u00e4sthetische Vorstellungen sind gute Gr\u00fcnde f\u00fcr einen individuellen Ma\u00dfrahmen von Unique Cycles.<\/p>\n<p>Meine Rahmen folgen einer klaren Philosophie: Ich sch\u00e4tze schlichte Formen, sinnvollen Leichtbau und Funktionalit\u00e4t. Daher baue ich ausschlie\u00dflich in Stahl und entscheide je nach Art des Rahmens, ob die Rohre geschwei\u00dft oder in \u201eFillet Brazed\u201c-Technik gef\u00fcgt werden. Ich sch\u00e4tze die \u00fcberragenden physikalischen Eigenschaften des \u201eWundermaterials\u201c Stahl genauso wie seine sekund\u00e4ren Qualit\u00e4ten. Neben der Dauerschwingfestigkeit, der Steifigkeit und dem niedrigen Gewicht \u00fcberzeugt mich die Energiebilanz des Werkstoffs und seine Wiederverwendbarkeit. Stahl erlaubt klare, geradlinige und elegante Rahmenformen. Es ist der zeitlose Dauerl\u00e4ufer unter den Rahmenmaterialien, der sich stetig weiterentwickelt. Ich arbeite mit Material von Columbus, True Temper, Paragon, Two Souls Cycles und anderen.<\/p>\n<p>Mein Ziel ist es, moderne Stahlrahmen zu bauen, die das Potenzial dieser Produkte aussch\u00f6pfen. Ich konstruiere komplette Full-Suspension-Bikes und habe meine ersten Twentyniner-Rahmen gebaut, als hierzulande noch kaum Serienrahmen f\u00fcr die gro\u00dfen R\u00e4der erh\u00e4ltlich waren. Ich nutze Oversized-Steuerrohre f\u00fcr Tapered-Gabeln und integriere Steckachsen und Teleskopst\u00fctzen in meine Konstruktionen.
